Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters. LoopSection is designed with a strict no-tracking philosophy. We do not collect personal information, do not run analytics, do not use advertising, and do not require an account. This policy explains what minimal data is processed when you use the website.

1. No Personal Data Collected

LoopSection does not collect, store, sell, or share any personal information. You do not need an account, login, name, or email address to use the service.

2. Cookies

LoopSection uses only one functional cookie, required to remember your chosen interface language. We do not use:

  • Tracking or advertising cookies
  • Behavioural tracking cookies
  • Analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Matomo, etc.)
  • Advertising or profiling technologies

The only cookie used (“loop_lang_override”) stores your language preference. It does not identify you and does not require consent under GDPR.

3. LocalStorage (Data Stored on Your Device Only)

LoopSection uses LocalStorage for app features. This data never leaves your device and cannot be accessed by us.

LocalStorage may contain:

  • Saved loops (start, end, speed, loop name)
  • Recently played videos
  • Your theme preference (light/dark)
  • Your supporter code (if you enter one)

You can clear this data at any time via your browser settings or using the “Clear History” option in the app.

4. YouTube Video Playback

LoopSection uses the official YouTube IFrame Player API to play videos. When you view or interact with YouTube videos:

  • Google/YouTube may collect usage data according to their own policies.
  • LoopSection does not receive, store, or access this data.

5. Hosting & Security

LoopSection is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the Paris (eu-west-3) datacenter. AWS provides industry-leading infrastructure and physical security.

No personal user data is stored on our servers.

6. Your GDPR Rights

Because LoopSection does not collect or process personal data, most GDPR rights (access, deletion, correction, portability) do not apply.

If you contact us by email, your message is used only to reply and is never added to any database or marketing list.
